Established in 1918, Tbilisi State Medical University (TSMU) is Georgia's oldest and most prestigious medical university. It is the only university in Georgia accredited by the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME). NMC India, WHO and all major global medical bodies recognize TSMU degrees. The curriculum follows EU standards with strong clinical exposure beginning from Year 3 onward. Thousands of Indian students have graduated from TSMU with consistently high FMGE and NExT pass rates. The university has a dedicated Tbilisi University Hospital for clinical practice and a very active Indian Student Association (ISA).
